Chairman’s Welcome

Dear Colleague,
Chapter President: DENISE NILES
As we enter 2026, the New York City security landscape continues to evolve rapidly, shaped by emerging technologies, complex threats, and the need for stronger collaboration across industries and sectors. Our mission as security professionals has never been more critical, and our role as a chapter is to provide guidance, connection, and opportunities to help members navigate these challenges effectively.
I am honored to serve as the first female Chair of the ASIS New York Chapter. This milestone reflects the chapter’s ongoing commitment to diversity, inclusion, and leadership development within our profession. I am proud to continue building on the remarkable foundation established by my predecessors, whose dedication has strengthened our chapter’s influence locally and globally.
In 2026, we will focus on enhancing value for our members through innovative programs, advanced training, and expanded networking opportunities. We will strengthen public-private partnerships, promote thought leadership, and continue to embrace emerging technologies—including AI and advanced security tools—to support resilient, forward-looking practices.
Our chapter’s success depends on active engagement and collaboration. By working together, sharing knowledge, and fostering professional growth, we can ensure that ASIS New York remains a hub for innovation, partnership, and leadership in the security field.
I am excited for the opportunities that 2026 will bring and look forward to working closely with each of you to advance our mission. Thank you for your continued support, dedication, and commitment to excellence.
With appreciation,
Denise Niles
President, ASIS New York Chapter
