April 2017 Chapter Meeting

Please join the NYC Chapter for our April meeting at Rosie O'Grady - 800 7th Avenue, NYC. We are honored to have Robert K. Boyce, Chief of Detectives NYPD as our guest speaker. A sit-down lunch will be served with soft drinks; a drink ticket redeemable for wine or beer will be provided and a cash bar is available for additional beverages.
Registration for individuals, groups and tables of ten can be made below. Ticket purchases for 10, 20 and 30 will automatically reserve a table for the company. Attendees who indicate CPP status when registering online will receive a certificate at the meeting for one (1) CPP continuing education credit.

Robert K. Boyce, Chief of Detectives NYPD
Chief of Detectives Robert K. Boyce joined the New York City Police Department in January 1983, and began his career on patrol and proudly served in NSU 2 and the 24 Precinct. He was promoted to Sergeant in December 1988; Lieutenant in August 1996; Captain in October 1998; Deputy Inspector in May 2001; Inspector in October 2003; Deputy Chief in October 2007; Assistant Chief in March 2012 and Chief of Detectives in March 2014. Chief Boyce has honorably served in the 24, 40, 67, 73,75 83, 90, and 94 Precincts, the 75 79, and 88 Detective Squads, Manhattan South Narcotics Division, Queens Narcotics Division, and the Gang Division.
Chief Boyce has also commanded Detective Boroughs Bronx and Manhattan, the 40 and 67 Precincts, the 79 and 88 Detective Squads, as well as the Gang Division. Additionally, he served as Executive Officer of the 75 and 90 Precincts.
In March of 2016, under the Unified Investigations Model, the NYPD placed all Organized Crime Control Bureau personnel into the Detective Bureau. Combining the Bureaus will effectively unify the investigative front to successfully address major crimes throughout the City. With this re-engineering, Chief Boyce currently leads approximately 6,000 Members of the New York City Police Department.
Chief Boyce holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the State University of New York and a Master of Public Administration degree from Marist College.
Chief Boyce has been married to his wife Kathleen for 32 years. They have 2 children Robert Jr and Caitlin, as well as a son in law Ryan.
