February Chapter Meeting

Guest Speaker: Vince Amadeo, Vice President of Crime Prevention for TD Bank
Please join the NYC Chapter for our meeting on February 15, 2019 at Rosie O’Grady upstairs in the Manhattan Room. A buffet lunch will be served with soft drinks; a drink ticket redeemable for wine or beer will be provided and a cash bar is available for additional beverages.
Please note the change to our registration process as we have included a shopping cart function. First order the number of tickets you wish to purchase. We now have an option to purchase a table where you can register your guests. Next click the red button to input the registration information of the purchaser and guests. Once you complete registration of yourself and guests click the button to check out and pay for the purchase. An invoice will be sent via email to the purchaser and tickets will be sent to the email address listed for each registration. Note that tickets can be sent directly to your guest if you add the guest’s email to the registration.
Registration for individuals, groups and tables of ten can be made online below. Ticket purchases for groups of 10 will automatically reserve a table for the company. Attendees who indicate CPP status when registering online will receive a one (1) CPP continuing education credit. Certificates are no longer given at the meeting, please use your receipt as proof of attendance when registering for CPP credits.

Speaker Bio: Vince Amadeo, Vice President of Crime Prevention for TD Bank
Vince Amadeo is the Vice President of Crime Prevention for TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank. In that capacity, Vince oversees a team of physical security and crime prevention specialists throughout TD’s U.S. footprint and is responsible for the safety and security of TD’s 26,000 employees and 1,300+ retail locations as well as law enforcement relationships and special event security.
Prior to joining TD Bank, Vince proudly served with the New York City Police Department for nearly 22 years. Vince transitioned from the NYPD as a Lieutenant Special Assignment, where he was assigned as the Commanding Officer of the NYPD Shield Program within the Counterterrorism Division and served as the department’s liaison with private/public sector security professionals to help deter, detect and identify terrorist activity in New York City. NYPD Shield is a nationally recognized award-winning public-private partnership with over 20,000 members and is dedicated to providing best practices, training and information sharing with government agencies, private businesses, and the community.
Vince’s academic credentials include a Master of Science Degree in Security Management from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, a BA in Political Science from Ramapo College and a Graduate Certificate in Police Studies. He is also a 2007 graduate of the 231st Session FBI National Academy.
